Dr. Shobana Vignesh
Founder & CEO, Arts CentralRenowned for her captivating voice and dynamic stage presence, Dr. Shobana Vignesh is a celebrated Indian Classical Vocalist and a distinguished Academician of Music. With a performance career spanning over three decades, she has graced the stages of prestigious venues worldwide and has won several International and National awards. As a recording artist, her albums have garnered critical acclaim and has over 150 Albums to her credit. With 3 Masters’ Degrees and a PhD in Music, Dr. Shobana’s academic contributions include pioneering research in early childhood music education, pedagogy and world music, as well as mentoring the next generation of musicians. Her unwavering dedication to both performance and education, including her tenure as Head of the Performing and Fine Arts Department in a prestigious Indian University, has established her as a leading and transformative figure in the music industry.
